Near Dain-Thlen falls a water reserve it looks like a mirror on the lake.
It has so many amazing structures and formations in small length with water dripping from roof. it might be difficult for elderly persons but must visit for rest.

6. Cherrapunjee Entrance.
Sohra, (temporarily called Cherrapunjee or Cherrapunji) is a
subdivisional town in the East Khasi Hills district in the Indian state of
Meghalaya. It is the traditional capital of ka hima Nongkhlaw (Khasi tribal
kingdom)

7. Wakaba Falls
Another finest waterfall, after Nohkalikai in Sohra.. Little
trekking of almost 400 steps would require to see beauty of this falls
(Actually there are two falls, one on the halfway, and real gem at the last)

Till date the best falls I have seen.Unlike other falls here
you actually can go upto the point in river bed from where the water is gushing
down with enormous sound creating a cloud of mist.

Eco Park is one of the popular tourist attractions of
Cherrapunjee from where the visitors can enjoy lovely view of the ‘Green
Canyons’ of Cherapunji along with the waterfalls that are located nearby.

Police Bazaar or PB, as it called by the locals is
Shillong's main market housing many garments shops and streetfood stalls.

13. Cathedral church Shillong
The cathedral church of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of
Shillong and serves as the seat of the Metropolitan Archbishop of Shillong. It
covers the districts of East Khasi Hills and Ri-Bhoi. The Cathedral is the
principal place of worship of the over 300,000 strong Catholics of the Shillong
Archdiocese which covers RI Bhoi and East Khasi Hills district of Meghalaya. In
all, there are 33 church district's or "Parishes" in the Shillong
Archdiocese. The Cathedral Church was built over 50 years ago.

14. Umiam Lake.
Umiam Dam, which impounds the lake, was built by the Assam
State Electricity Board in the early 1960s. The dam's original purpose was to
store water for hydroelectric power generation. The Umiam Stage I powerhouse,
north of the lake, has four 9-MW turbine-generators, which entered commercial
operation in 1965. Umiam Stage I was the first reservoir-storage hydroelectric
project commissioned in the northeastern region of India.

15. Sonapur Blue River
The Lukha river, which originates from the Nongkhlieh Elaka and flows along the Narpoh reserve forest of Jaintia Hills, Meghalaya, is one of the main rivers that run through the district and drains itself into the Surma valley in Bangladesh. In January of 2007, the colour of the river changed noticeably blue, and a big transformation swiftly followed. "The colour started changing first, and then simultaneously all the fish started dying. There was a foul smell lingering in the air for days, and thousands of dead fish were pushed to the banks", describes Bah J Lamare, the headman of Sonapur village, recollecting the event that shocked the locals
